My story

My journey to becoming a doula began with my own birth experiences. After two hospital inductions that left me feeling unheard and unsupported, I knew I wanted something different. I went on to have two out-of-hospital births, where I experienced a completely different level of care. Through those births, and the support of my own doula, I discovered just how powerful it can be to have someone by your side who offers knowledge, encouragement, and unwavering support. Those experiences sparked a passion in me to help other women feel heard, respected, and confident in their own birth journeys. No matter where or how you choose to give birth, my desire is for you to feel informed, empowered, and genuinely supported every step of the way. As a Certified Birth Doula serving Durango, Colorado, and the surrounding communities, I have the privilege of walking alongside families during one of life's most meaningful seasons. I bring not only my training and knowledge, but also the perspective and compassion of a fellow mother who understands both the beauty and the challenges of bringing a new life into the world. My Christian faith is at the heart of everything I do. I believe every life is a precious gift from God, and every mother deserves to be treated with dignity, grace, and love. Whether or not we share the same faith, my commitment remains the same: to welcome you wholeheartedly, honor your choices, and support you with compassion and respect.
